Bryce Canyon Viewpoint

Unusual view of Bryce Canyon cliffs

Back in 1992, I spent a day wandering around the off-beaten trails of Bryce Canyon on a photography mission. Hiking those pathways was well worth it, as I was rewarded with fantastic views that very few people will ever see. This shot was captured on the now unobtainable Kodachrome film, with Nikon equipment.

The Nutty Professor

The Nutty Professor in the classroom laboratory

Long ago, one of the most popular tourist attractions in Southern California was the Movieland Wax Museum, the largest of its kind in the United States. I visited the attraction back in 1991, and captured this fantastic scene from the classic Jerry Lewis film on Ektachrome film with my Nikon SLR. The museum is now long gone, as it was shuttered in 2005 and all the displays auctioned off.

Dinosaur Skeleton

Huge dinosaur skeleton in a crowded museum

A gigantic Diplodocus skeleton looms over the crowd in the majestic entryway of the London Natural History Museum. The display is actually made of castings of fossilized bones, which were originally discovered in the western United States way back in 1898. Photographed in 2015.

Lovely Retro Ladies

Glamorous women wearing fifties attire

These beautiful women added some extra charm to the "Cruisin' Back to the 50's" Culver City Car Show in 2011. I captured this moment before they were to go on stage for a Pin Up Girl contest.

Fiery Sunset

A brilliant orange sunset

I spent a year living and working in New Zealand, and often marveled at the awe-inspiring skies in that part of the world. This spectacular cloud display was one of the finest sunsets that I witnessed there.

Over the Hollywood Sign

Perspective view of Los Angeles from above the Hollywood sign

Here is a reverse angle of the iconic Hollywood sign, revealing a dramatic view of the hills, Los Angeles, and the distant ocean. To reach this location requires an uphill hike of several miles.
